Members Opus Antics
I have recently suddenly started experiencing static with my Shure SLX Beta 58 wireless microphone. It was working fine and then suddenly it had static. Does any one have any suggestions as to what I can do to resolve it? I haven't tried anything other than standing in different places, but as I said, I didn't use to have this issue. It just suddenly started. Members agedhorse
Make sure the head of the mic is screwed onto the transmitter snugly.
Members Opus Antics
Thanks. After a whole day of experimenting, it turns out I had the receiver racked too close to the IEM transmitters and their power supply.
Members agedhorse
Receivers should never be racked close to any transmitters, the relative levels of even leakage signal is too high. Frequency doesn't matter as there are harmonics and intermediate frequency products generated.
