Members ElectricPuppy
I'm not sure why you're conflating "MIDI" with "sampler", unless you have in mind a stand-alone unit, as opposed to a software-based one? Most sampling these days is done on computers, but for stand-alone, you're looking at the Akai's MPC line, Native Instruments' "Maschine", Elektron's "Machine Drum" and "Octatrack" for new gear. If you're willing to go used, there's plenty of old samplers from Emu, Akai, Roland, Ensoniq, blah, blah, blah. Can you be a bit more specific about what your needs are? Members Franz Schiller
Hey there friend, I think you need to elaborate on your question a bit....like, what do you want to sample? How are you going to use he samples? Do you need to play the samples chromatically across a keyboard, or are they more like drums and percussion? Perhaps you're looking for something loop oriented? The more info you provide the better we can help!
