Members space_chimp
Hey, this is my first thread so sorry if its in the wrong section or already been posted. I have a line 6 pod 2.0 i find it really good for recording clean guitar sounds, but whenever i try and record distorted guitar i get all these nasty swirling frequencies. I have tried doing everything it sais in the manual. Does anyone else find this? Also i was thinking of downloading the midi software off the Line6 website, does anyone know if its any good? I dont want to start clogging up my mac with crap. Hope someone has some advice they can post back. Thanks
Members Magpel
If you're talking about the POD editing software, which does use MIDI to communicate with the POD, yeah, I recall it working fine. No problems at all, and it's certainly not the kind of app that's going to muck things up. It's pretty light weight, I'm sure. It gets you "under the hood" of the POD. Unfortunately, I didn't find that to be a very productive place to be. A lot of parmeters to tweak, but to no great effect.
Members KB Gunn
I have found that the downloads are limited for the POD v2. There is a greater selection for the XT. Also, the v2 downloads are not as they are described on the site.
