Members Fendercaster
I'd like to be able to load patches into my GR33 guitar synth using the GrapeLight editing software. My laptop's soundcard doesn't have any MIDI ports, is there some kind of USB interface or something that I can use to do this? Thanks for your help. Members franknputer
M-Audio makes a couple of 1x1 MIDI interfaces, both under $50. I have an old MOTU FastLane, which is USB, 2x2 & works great - slightly more (about $75), but you could probably find one on Ebay relatively cheap. Members TimOBrien
I've used a Midisport USB2x2 for years with ZERO problems. You can get the Uno single port version for $30-40.
Members John Sayers
I have an Edirol USB midi interface, works fine. I suggest you install asio4all if you want any decent sort of latency as your sound card as is will be be very slow. http://www.asio4all.com/
Members Fendercaster
Thanks for your responses! I ordered an Edirol UA-4FX interface, it looks like it will do what I need plus a lot more. Thanks again.
