    I just now heard this NPR piece while out walking. Interviews with Ray Charles, Paul McCartney, Mick Jagger and many others.

      I could swear that in my original post I mentioned that the interviewer Joe Smith mentioned that McCartney said that he'd not written a good song since John Lennon died. This would've been said back in 1985. It was missing just now when I edited the post to fix the "Paul Jagger" booboo. I think someone removed the statement about McCartney.



      Is someone removing this sort of content ? Mabye I deleted that line accidentally when I posted originally. Please disregard.
