At this point in time it is not known why the virus prefers this specialised group as a host rather than other people. Scientists have a number of theories, but nothing has yet been proven. One theory is that obsession with rhyme schemes influences the DNA and provides a predisposiition for the virus to connect. Another theory is that the DNA of the virus is in an AABA sequence, and that it seeks out hosts that think in similar structures. A third theory suggests that songwriters are a redundant life form, and that a process of Darwinian natural extinction is in progress. My symptoms include: Lack of ideas, lack of interest, distraction and diziness, seeing guitars as meerly a piece of wood and NOT an instrument, aversion to switching on music computer.
