Members DJBozo01
Hey everyone, gonna be starting some DJ sets around the local area and am looking for advice on what decks and mixer would be the best to grab for a first timer. Price range is under $1k for the lot and am looking for best quality for money. Cheers in advance for your suggestions!

Members Anderton
I've really been digging Native Instruments' S2 / Traktor Pro 2 package. List is $599. When Traktor goes to 2.5 sometime this quarter, it's a free update. I also have an NS7, but it's not a "starter" kind of thing. Part of the issue is deciding which software you want to use, as the controllers are usually designed around the software. Seems to me that Traktor and Virtual DJ have the most numbers. I actually like Torq a lot too, but I'm not sure how much attention it's getting from Avid.
Members Noisia
S2 or the S4 there basically the same. If you are going to hit it hard you are going to want the extera trakes later
