Members zeberifo
Hey everyone!Just wondering what software all of ya's use to send out mass emails.I hear there are some packages that send out to everyone as if it was sent to them personally? I'm looking for something that the AOL's and Hotmails won't delete immediately as SPAM (nothing is unsolicited). I currently use Microsoft Outlook and it seems to always give me trouble. Everything goes out to myself with all recipients as blind carbon copy.. We have over 400 contacts that get mass emails now. Any help is appreciated! Members IndyGuitarist
Follow the lead of internet marketers...Use Getresponse.com for your newsletters. Offer something of value to your visitors to get them to sign up on your newsletter. Push the newsletter signups hard, and your product lightly. Why? Because this is a targeted marketing list...people who are interested in products such as yours. For example, go to http://www.indyguitarist.com/ ...notice how you have many opportunities to join the mailing list? From there, the mailing list is automated, and emails are generated at any interval I want. Give away/sell info products with your links/mailing list link embedded in it. This is a form of viral marketing. After your newsletter is generating sales, you can figure out how many sales you get per 100 visitors. This is a buying ratio. You can figure out from this how much you make (statistically) off of each visitor. Use this to buy advertising (price per clickthroughs and other forms of advertising). One way NO one in the music field takes advantage of: Joint ventures. Find other bands similar to yours who have a mailing list and purchase a favorable write up or mention in their newsletter. Post on messageboards with your link to your newsletter....mine: info@guitartone.net (you'll see how its tailored toward each person). Hope some of this helps....I'm in the middle of writing a book about internet marketing in the music industry, and bands are covered specifically in one of the chapters. It's very easy to use, and they have excellent guides on how to do it also. I highly recommend the paid version...it looks more personal, professional, and it has way more than paid for itself with the business it has created! Hope that helps!
