Isn't it something that occurs in a (co-)publishing contract and indicates who can issue the licenses or something like that? Does it also occur in non co-publishing contracts? Anybody can explain this more clearly as I am just guessing.. 2/ Second, when the credits on the back of a CD cover say something like "Published by Copyright Control/Warner Chappel", what does that mean?!
