Members rockinrobby
Hey there, I'm a singer from 1st grade. Please check out my Christmas song, "What child is this" which is a choral arrangement, with me as "the choir" :-) I appreciate all comments and feedback. Thanks, it's at the top of my webpage. And Merry Christmas!
Members rockinrobby
It's the Doctor Evil speech? When he's in counseling with his son Scott. According to my FB page, I also have a supermodel, and an ass model fighting over me? So you bought in to all of that? Wow! :-) LOL! Yeah I like to have fun with the text on that site. Members rockinrobby
:-) Well I'm a singer first and foremost, choir 1st grade through 12th, then church choirs after that and bands? And most of my music is geared around the vox. i.e., my newest Christmas toon. There are 8 vocal traks... Lots of harmonies. And the new one I'll start today is going to be a monster vocal number. A lot of folks ask me about singing, to some extent, and perhaps even a large one, I believe singers (and drummers) are born and not made. Singing requires some innate ability. But what I say is that singing is 90% up here (points at noggin) 6% down here (points at gut) and about 4% here (points at neck). In my opinion it is very cerebral... i.e., if you don't believe it, and feel it, no one else will.
Members rockinrobby
New mix up. Would appreciate any feedback on the vocals.
Members rockinrobby
Little drummer boy is a "big" vocal production as well.
Members rockinrobby
ROTFALMAO, yes I know some people just can't stand Christmas music. And sometimes Christmas in general. It's a special time for me. Peace on earth and good will toward man. Armies even declare truces and don't fight on Christmas? i.e., WWII with us and Germany? That's pretty powerful... And some of the music is quite beautiful, and haunting. A lot of my original music is very vocal as well, with a choral background. I'm no spring chic, 52 this year, so I figure I have a few more good years being able to sing, after that it will be down hill :-( It's natures way of telling you, "something's wrong..." Members rockinrobby
Thanks Beachy, that was a powerful performance, but I knew less about mixing :-( I need to remix that one. But I'm glad you liked it! I think it's one of the best Christmas songs "ever." I do need to remix it though (IMO) Again, I'm really glad you enjoyed it :-) It's hard to go wrong with a Christmas classic like that one.

Members grace_slick
Wow...What Child Is This...it's GORGEOUS! It's so intricate and delicate but powerful and strong...*swoon* Love Please Come Home for Christmas too. LOVE the voice!!! It's such a good voice...very commercial but SOO not boring or whatever a lot of commercial people sound like these days. It's just great. O Holy Night...this one sounds more deep...in the voice I mean. Like it's more emotional, though I know you put all your emotions into every song you do cause that's who you are...it's the best version out of all the other versions floating around, by far. Even better than mine!!! LOL
Members rockinrobby
Thanks Gracie, I'm glad you enjoyed them. That's why I do this :-) I put a lot of time in to the production for What child, probably 60 hours for that little 2:30 song? I told you I have OCD about it, LOL! Members rockinrobby
Thanks Lenny, you know I'm a fan of the Scrapers too :-) Hey there ziesha, thanks very much. I worked very hard on it. I've been wanting to do another Christmas tune this year, but it will be a sprint to the finish cause it usually takes me about 3 to 4 weeks for a project, and I have the boy this weekend so couldn't really start till next week. Maybe though? :-) I particularly enjoy this genera.
