Members stratmaster48
I have a Korg MS2000b and the power plug jack will only work if I hold it up, or prop it up with something. How much would it cost to replace, or fix?

Members packrat
Probably cost you whatever an hour of work at your nearest music equipment repair place is. Or a screwdriver and a soldering iron and a few minutes. B>

Seriously though, as Stratmaster said, I personally would just pull the case off and fix it myself (solder and brace most likely) but since you asked the question it sounds like you would feel most comfortable bringing it to a repair shop to do the work. You are probably looking at anywhere from $30-$100, depending upon the rape factor of the shop.
Members Bobsk8
It could be that the jack itself is broken internally which would require unsoldering it and replacing it with the correct part, or the circuit board is cracked at the jack mounting requiring soldering and reinforcing the broken area. If you are not into this kind of thing, I would recommend you bring it to someone to have it fixed. Having trained repair technicians myself, the one thing they hate, is someone that brings in something that would have been a simple repair, but the customer made it much worse by trying to fix it himself.
