Thanks! I'm trying to sample my custom patches so I can use them for composing on a portable setup.

(I imagin it would also be nice as a backup if my synth got fried for some reason as well)

Are u sure?!?

Because i have the sample used in the expansions in raw form and there are many G, D, A, E, (not so many C) so it depends about the sample.

Also there are ALWAYS 2 or 3 notes for octave !!

Esiclene is right. It all depends on which wave multisample, but they can be quite close together in the middle octaves, but thin out a bit at the edges. You can hear these multisample break points if you initialize a patch, thus stripping away filters, envelopes, and effects, and listen closely to the raw waves.

You can also move the break points as a group up or down by transposing the wave, and then pulling it back to pitch by modulating it with a square wave set to it's lowest speed, with offset at 100% and key sync on. I've had to do this with a couple of organ waves to get them where I wanted them.

How did you get them in RAW form?

I can usually hear the break points, but I can't tell if the natural notes exist on the edge of the breakpoints or in the middle of them.

Ok I understand what you're getting at. I don't know any way to do that other than just guess... and my best guess is that they're probably somewhere in the middle of each multisample usually.

My metod to detect the zones of multisample:

1 Init patch, to choose multisample

2 Set pitch bend in 1 semitone.

3 Play(example) C w/ full pitchbend up, next play C#, bend zero. The same note is obtained, but with different timbre if it belongs to another zone of keymap.

4 repeat with the rest of the keyboard.
