Members Egens
Hello, I talked about his before, and didn't get a a straight answer. Well, Like I said, in some programs in my Triton Le (Leads only), when I play in high octaves, right after I hit the lower keys, I hear a disturbing sound.. Packrat, and other repliers, told me to check the manual, read about waveforms, and check the program's waveform (I by the way, don't have the sampling options). The common waveforms that the problamatic programs had, were called: "Triangle 0", and "saw O" (Hmm,well, these are wavoforms, right? I entered the LFO, from the menu, to see what waveform each program has). The manual didn't help me a lot. If you don't believe me, here's a proof.. http://www.korg.co.uk/korg2003/downloads/tritonle/docs/Le_ParameterGuide.pdf Check page 249. Here's a file that demonstrate the noise. http://rapidshare.de/files/24107905/noises_1_.mp3.html Some of you probably have a Deja-Vu.. I posted this before, and again, I jsut didn't get an helpul answer/.
Members packrat
Figure out what makes up a patch and then try to either duplicate the noise, find the common elements of patches with the noise, or eliminate the noise. Don't complain that the answer wasn't straight because you can't be bothered learning enough to understand it. B>
Members Tusks
I think you are talking about the thump the portamento setting is giving you as it rapidly sweeps the pitch up. Try turning portamento off (Portamento time = 0) if you don't like the noise. Many of us like that noise. Jerry
Members Egens
You like that noise? Seriously?I mean, it has that vintage touch, but it's the most disturbing thing I can think of in my whole life... And I changed the portamento time to 0, it didn't work out.. Members Egens
Ok! I fixed this out! I just entered menu, chose "Basic", and cancelled the "legato" option. It doesn't sound like the original, but after I changed and played with master and insert effects, I managed to make an awesom lead!
