Members Nassarius Vibex
Hello. What is a Rewire device? Are they still used today? Do you use them? What is an example of one. How are they used with a software sequencer? Thanks. I forgot to add: If you have any good links that describe this. I have not had very good luck finding anything of value. Members mildbill
I think rewire lets Nassarius Vibex snails communicate with each other through those things that look like tails: http://www.jaxshells.org/0930.htm
Members Nassarius Vibex
http://www.propellerheads.se/They've developed "Rewire." thanks for the link. I did find the info on page "Rewire tech". I dont think I will need to use something like this in my setup. From reading the page it seemed like "Rewire" is an older tech. Sonar and Project could be used together with "rewire". Thanks again.

I've been reading up on software like mad the past few months as I am completely switching over. Now I am just trying to figure out what to pull the trigger on! Members mildbill
When you 'rewire' Reason in Cubase (for example), it lets them communicate timing of the sequencers, and audio channels are available in Cubase for the Reason instruments. It's mainly important for timing, I think - I don't use it. But if you press 'play' in Cubase, the sequencer will start playing in Reason, and so on.
