Members Kozmo
Hey Guys, I recently joined a classic rock/blues (codger band). Having a good time playing a lot of organ, piano, EPNO, strings etc. But, haven't found a good synth song to bring to the band. A lot of stuff I would like to do is a bit over involved and would require more than the Motif/Triton dou of keys that I am using (don't want to sequence). Anyone have a suggestion for a good synth oriented classic rock song that isn't ridiculously complex, yet is very cool??
Members Chipster58
Never Been Any Reason (Head East) - simple but classic Minimoog line.
Members jchas
Frankenstein - Edgar Winter. Not overly complex but audiences think it is. No sequencing required.

Members Jercat
Jump - Van Halen, duh Swingtown - Steve Miller - nice piano and good synth moogish ride at the end Super Freak - Rick James, if you are good enough with the left hand to do the Rhodes accents along with the synth part....or have a rythm guitar player do the taps as I do! Then you can just have fun with the synth parts.

Members Jercat
Speaking of The Cars....what would be a good synth to emulate that many variations on a theme?
