I don't think it's a synth/sampler that I really need, since I have the 12-bit waveform/sample thru VCF sound that I want. I was just always curious about how it sounds in comparison to its competition from the time (which would also include Emax I). I don't think it's one of the more sought after SCI products, though. I hear it is capable of a pretty fat polysynth sound, and far more useful as a synth than as a sampler. It shares the same filter found on Prophet VS and later Sequential synths. Should be able to nail the P5 polybrass sound pretty good I imagine (or P600 sound at least). And probably provides excellent synth strings through a combination of samples and detuned waveforms/VCF.
