Members chevybusa
Hey all. I just got the "low battery" message on my Kurzweil PC88MX. I have already ordered a new battery, it's on it's way, and I've researched how to replace it, but this is the first time it's happened to me and I've heard horror stories about losing all of the factory data. How can I make sure this doesn't happen? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Members rovito
Not 100% sure but I believe its like doing a hard reset unless you can keep the AC power to it. You may lose any alterations you may have made. All of the stock factory sounds should be on the chip.
Members MartinHines
Isn't there a way to back up the factory data, perhaps via the midi ports and a System Exclusive file? I would suggest asking your question over at the Sonikmatter Kurzweil forum:http://community.sonikmatter.com/forums/index.php?showforum=
