Members Tumababa
So I managed to salvage a turntable road case off of craig's list to protect my laptop from gigging. I just went and bought some foam that I'm now cutting to fit the lappy as well as my breakout box etc... How important is it to get static-proof foam for something like this? I mean, the laptop should be well shielded shouldn't it? Let me know,
Members veracohr
If you can carry your laptop around and use it wherever you want without it getting fried, you can stick it in a case without it getting fried.
Members wetwareinterface
except.... you need to make sure the foam is nowhere near the intake and exhaust ports on the bottom and back of your laptop or you will fry it due to heat buildup.
