Members just.joe.
Hello all, first time poster! I just got myself a JD-990 from the US. So, of course, it's voltage is set to 120V. I opened up the unit and it seems to have a pin for every voltage it offers. It has one wire soldered to 120V and another wire soldered to "OV". The layout is as follows.. X = pins with wires on it. | = pins not used 240V - 230V - 120V - 100V - N.C - OV -- | ------ | ------- X ------ | ------ | ----- X -- So my question is.. is it enough to just move the wire that's currently on 120V to 240V or do I have to do anything with that other wire that's connected to OV? Thanks for the help guys!
Members kpatz
The 0V wire stays on 0V. The other wire goes to the tap appropriate for your mains voltage.
