Members Marcos_Ceia
I've been ruminating this for some time, but somehow forgot to post the question here: the filter and resonance faders on my JP-8000 are acting like a logarithmic fader on a linear course (don't know if I've made myself clear). Any other JP8k users here that have noticed this or is it only me?
Members ChromaLord
Regardless of how you feel (or hear) its responding, you can easily change the way the continuous control data is streamed via your computer-based sequencer to any slider on the 8000
Members Marcos_Ceia
Yes, sequencing-wise there are no problems, as the filter responds normally to midi.Live, however, this is a serious problem. The issue apparently is on the faders only, and I'd like to know if anybody is experiencing this. Thanks anyway:thu:
Members ChromaLord
I never experienced a problem but then I never tried to use it live- I had the rack version. But Even in the rack the faders were pretty cheap feeling to me and I don't recall if the JP allowed for linear- exponential tracking changes.
