Looks slick in person and the controls have a nice feel ... keybed is definitely good and it even has aftertouch ... Automap also on board though I wonder how it works with programs outside the Cakewalk family ... I also like the crossfader control ... The reason for the blowout is these are going to be re-branded as Cakewalk controllers (though they have a couple new features, I believe) ... Members McHale Posted February 12, 2010 Members Share Posted February 12, 2010 Automap didn't work on quite a few VSTi's I tried it on. Easy as pie to program though. I mainly bought it for VB3. The controller allows you to reverse the sliders so they behave like drawbars. Cool. I was going to hold off for the Cakewalk A-800 but the price was good and it also had twice the number of drum pads (which can be set to latching and used for anything).
