Just picked up a new Edirol by Roland 32-note PCR-300 controller for less than a hundred bucks, they also have the 49-note for $149 & the 61-note for $199.:thu:

Good deal me thinks - not on their website but featured in this months catalog - the clerk even let me use the 10% off coupon on the back :)

thanks for posting this. As soon as I read it, I called all the G.C.'s in the area for a 61 key and scored the last one. Of course I had to drive over 100 miles to get it, but it was worth it!

They wouldn't let me use my coupon though. :(

Yes ... I agree they're a great deal ... Looks slick in person and the controls have a nice feel ... keybed is definitely good and it even has aftertouch ... Automap also on board though I wonder how it works with programs outside the Cakewalk family ... I also like the crossfader control ...

The reason for the blowout is these are going to be re-branded as Cakewalk controllers (though they have a couple new features, I believe) ...

Automap didn't work on quite a few VSTi's I tried it on. Easy as pie to program though. I mainly bought it for VB3. The controller allows you to reverse the sliders so they behave like drawbars. Cool.

I was going to hold off for the Cakewalk A-800 but the price was good and it also had twice the number of drum pads (which can be set to latching and used for anything).

If anyone uses VB3 and wants my config file, lemme know...

Hi, just ran across this on a search. I would appreciate your VB3 config file, thank you. If you use it with MainStage I could send you my file which includes organ drawbars and such. Please send to: nmcq333@gmail.com

thank you,

Neil
