Members marcushendry
I'm looking for a new keyboard. I want an 88-key, weighted keyboard that really can be used just as a MIDI controller as a I have a separate module. I don't care about speaker quality or internal sounds so much as I do the action of the keys. If played the Yamaha P85 which was okay and the Casio CX130 which I didn't care for (felt sluggish). I loved the fast action on the Roland FP-4 but I'm trying to keep the budget in the 3 digits. Anyone with experience with another board that feels similar? Members electro5
You might be able to find a second-hand Roland EP880, it isn't the same action, but it's similar and a lot cheaper, as it's less feature based
Members The Piano Man
Your best bet would be to source a Roland FP2 which has a similarly light and quick progressive hammer action. I personally much prefer the solid action on the FP3 than the actions on the FP2 and FP4.
