Members jbondo777
Love the look of the Korg RK-100 but wish it had the features of a Roland AX-7? Then this is the keytar for you! eBay auction: http://www.ebay.com/itm/231047338212 YouTube video presentation/demo: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eKqY66K5LLY This listing is for a custom wooden keytar (that I made myself) modeled after the body style of a Korg RK-100, and with the sweet-feeling pitch ribbon off a Roland AX-7. The Roland pitch ribbon is wired through the existing pitch wheel, so you can use either the ribbon or the wheel and both will accurately bend the full range of whatever you're hooked up to via the metal-cased 5-pin MIDI out jack. The keytar has a soft-feeling spring-action 49-key velocity-sensitive keybed, allowing for expressive soloing or chord playing, taken from a Quickshot MIDI Composer keyboard (for which the full original manual is included). The body is made of plywood and pine painted with black lacquer, there is a large soft-feel arcade-style sustain button on the back of the neck (which is a real, nice, smooth guitar neck), a pair of standard guitar strap buttons screwed into the body for easy one- or two-handed playing, a bright red LCD with volume slider, octave up and down buttons, and a MIDI select button to engage advanced parameter tweaking. It also has a decorative black and white checker design on the key spring service access panel and an access port next to the MIDI jack, allowing the DC adapter or an (optional) external sustain pedal* to be plugged into the circuit board (* the built-in arcade-style neck-mounted sustain button must be first unplugged internally in order to plug in an external pedal). The keytar runs off a single 9-volt battery or the included DC adapter, and comes with a custom-modified tilt-back stand that has had its neck extended to accommodate the additional height of the keytar. This is a large keytar, and will look best on a tall person (I am 6'1" and it looks fine on me). Starting bid $199, BIN for $399. Continental USA bidders only, and paypal only for both your convenience and mine. Good luck! This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity--don't let it pass you by!
