Members Dee_Eff
I can hear the psychedelic influences in the lyrics for sure, and the music has some as well. The overall sound is much more modern - it dosen't sound like it was recorded in 1967 - the guitar sounds are too modern for that. If your going for a 60's type sound, try sticking some older instrument sounds in it. A mellotron would be cool (everyone has one of those in their closet right?) I hope this helps. Nice work, by the way!
Members eddieboston2
I like it. I don't know about psychedelic, except for the opening backward talking. It's more of a synth/talking heads kind of sound. It works for what it is. The instrumental solo in the middle could have used a bit more going on.The melody is nice. Nice work, by the way! Hi Dee_Eff, thanks for taking the time to comment, I am the musical part of this effort, my friend wrote the lyrics and sent them to me...after reading them I got a strong surrealistic vibe , and set out to create something to give that kind of mood, while also being kind of accessible if that makes any sense? It's still developing , and I have a lot of ideas I want to try musically to add to the landscape of this... eddieboston2 : I like it. Thanks for listening eddie, I probably shouldn't have labeled the song as being psychedelic, as it kind of places it in a genre in the listeners mind before even listened to....I am working on the middle instrumental part now... I can dig the Talking Heads comparison...I love there music!
Members Dee_Eff
. . . strong surrealistic vibe , and set out to create something to give that kind of mood, while also being kind of accessible if that makes any sense? Sure, that makes perfect sense, at to that end, I think you succeeded.

Members Bodyguard2112
I think this reminds me of the early 80s, like right between MTV new wave and Billy Thorpe.
Members ALyricman
Yes and i think the early 80s... good job, especially lyric. I like rhyme scheme.''So many hills to climbSo many thing to say''- it is very nice introduction in song.
