Members tbry
This is a simple silly song about doing all the things I would really like to do. If you like you can add suggestions on anything, lyrics, chord progression(very simple) or whatever...just sharing...everything is open for improvement...Thanks!! http://soundclick.com/share?songid=8274190 My Bucket list Climbed the Pyrenees mountains at dawn And I have met the Chairman Mao Sang with McCartney on a song My bucket list is shorter now But I missed Monroe and Dimaggio Cause then I could have said wow They were cool people I got to know Still my bucket list is shorter now I have been to the European Union And Venice Queen of the Adriatic Glad I missed Anne Frank Hiding with her family in an attic Ogled women on the French Riveiera Helped a farmer pull his plough And smelled the sweet pines in Carolina My bucket list is shorter now I have flown two prop airplanes I even jumped out and sky dived Been to the south plains of old Spain Ran with the bulls and came out alive There isn't many places I haven't seen And standing underneath that oak tree bough You helped me decide between Life alone or wedding vows My bucket list is looking shorter now My bucket list is shorter now Yeah you filled the hole in my bucket list now Copyright 2009 Ted Bryson
Members Boydog
good stuff man, I like it , as you say, simple, but not really so, I'm thinking it took a lot of thought. lots of imagery. good stuff
Members hurtchow
For me music is far more important than lyrics on first impressions, and I think that kept this song at a distance for me, so to speak. The rhythms are a bit too monotone to grab me, which is what I'd need to start paying attention to the lyrics in the first place. Going over the lyrics however, I thought this was a nice song. Reminds me of going through yearbooks. heh
