Members omt Posted June 14, 2006 Members Share Posted June 14, 2006 I have a Philips qqe06/40 dual power tetrode lying around and i have been thinking about making a rackmount power amplifier. Can anyone point me in the direction of what outoput transformer i need, and how the best way to conect the tube wold be (recomended component values and so on). I have never used tetrodes before so how would they work in guitar amplification, and how about power tube distortion? I think i can do the powersupply myself beacause i have built a coupple of tube amps before.
