Members driveblind
I have a Boss SYB-3 bass synth pedal that needs some repair. The two dual (one knob inside the other) potentiometers are both bent or broken so I can't adjust some of the parameters. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement for these? If I can't find the parts themseleves, I guess I could buy a Boss pedal that has the same pots and remove them. Any ideas what other pedals use these? Members TweedBassman
probably your best bet is boss/roland themselves; i'd imagine a stacked pot that small with those exact values (no idea what they are btw) is pretty tough to find. you may want to consider re-housing the whole thing, and putting the stacked controls on seperate knobs. Members thor653
These might be too big but here's a couple links:http://www.guitarelectronics.com/product/CPS55http://www.universaljems.com/cart/pots.htmhttp://www.aguilaramp.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=AA&Product_Code=250kDhttp://www.aguilaramp.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=AA&Product_Code=50kSt If these don't work for you just look up dual concentric pots. You should be able to find something without going through Boss directly...Hope this helps. Members driveblind
Aha! "Concentric" is the magic word that I was forgetting in my searches. I'm finding quite a bit now that I know what to search for. I'll probably just measure the values of the pots that are in there now. I'm sure that I'll be able to find something that should fit suitably. Thanks for your help.
