Members 88mm Posted February 18, 2007 Members Share Posted February 18, 2007 Changed out my PUPS to some Dimarzio Virtual Vintage. I have the newer released ones. I changed everything out and wired it back up the way is was. but now only the bridge and neck work. I have no 2, 3, 4, positions. I checked to make sure I soldered the middl back in but everything looks fine. Note all jackx pots and switches worked right before I started this, So I don't think it is any of those. Ideas??? Members mahoganycentral Posted February 18, 2007 Members Share Posted February 18, 2007 a good tip i learnt when you're in this position is to draw what you have actually done, then compare it to the diagram. it show's up wiring errors very quickly!plus a single strand of wire or braided sleeve can short out on something and kill the signal too, but it sounds like the switch is wired incorrectly somewhere...?
