Members yump Posted April 10, 2007 Members Share Posted April 10, 2007 is there any diagrams or whatever to build a modest amp about 25w?anything special or common to add to a power source? filters or what everto make it for a guitar? i see alot of talk about tubes and such but i'm guessing it's the little other things that make the sought after high end stuff.just looking for a decent basic git amp. keeping it all above board and legal of course. i don't have a clue but i can get someone to put it together.i can deal w/speaker and such. There are several people who offer kits to build one, but most are a bit pricey... ~$600 The schematic is readily available online and there are several pages available from people who have built them. If you don't have to have a tube amp, there are chip amps like the TDA2050 that can output 20w and are fairly clean.
