Members guitarmikeb Posted November 20, 2007 Members Share Posted November 20, 2007 I have a mesa boogie .50 cal plus head. I need to replace two potentiometers due to sheared off knobs. Any one have any help on how to do this? I have the amp out of the chassis and from the looks of it, it seems as if the circuit board would have to come out for the pots to be replaced. It also appears that all the pots would have to come out together. Has anyone out here done this? I'm very mechanically minded, and my soldering skills are pretty good, but I'm still not sure if I should do this one on my own.
