Moog EP-2 & Eventide ModFactor ???

Hi there!

I've got my ModFactor for a week or so and i simply love it.

But there is an bad issue between the Moog EP-2 Expression Pedal and the ModFactor.

The EP-2 doesn't seem to work probably; it just uses 25% of the whole range.

For Example: I program the EP2 to control the speed of the square wave tremolo of the Mod-Factor. But at 25% of the EP-2's range, the speed is at maximum. So it is nearly impossible to fine adjust any parameter with this little sweeping range. Moog support told me to tweak the trim pot on the side, but that decreases the Sweeping range of the pedal further...

Now i read, that the Mod-Factor allows max. 20k ohm Expression pedals. Unfortunatly the EP-2 is rated at 110k ohm.

is there any way to modify the EP-2 to fit the impedance of the Mod-Factor EP input??? I thought on soldering in a 20k Resistor(I hope my calculating was right) parallell to the Potentiometer. will that solve my problem?

Thanks!

kind regards
