Members Base
Today is the first anniversary of John Peel's last radio show before he died suddenly on 25th October. There are gigs all over the place today and Radio 1 will be transmitting live music for 6 hours from 1900 BST. Some details HERE and the radio website is HERE. There's a hell of a range of acts involved including new and estasblished stuff, I don't see any reason you couldn't listen via the website outside of the UK. I'm going to miss most of it as I'm out tonight, but thought some of you might enjoy it...
Members Tedster
I've heard of John Peel. But I was a bigger fan of his sister, Emma...

Members Base
Peel reportedly amassed 26,000 vinyl LPs, 40,000 singles and 40,000 CDs. Try getting that on an iPod...!
