Members ReniMani
A couple of my crashes seem to have just lost their tonality and I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this. The crashes are an 18" Zildjian A Rock Crash and an 18" Zildjian A Medium Crash. I've had them for about 2 years now and have used them a lot and I hit pretty hard. It sounds like they've just gone dead and don't have the resonance that they used to. It almost sounds like they're cracked, but there's no cracks, no keyholing, nothing! Any suggestions? Depending on where the crack may be, you can try drilling a hole at the end of it to prevent further cracking but if the sound's dead you should get new ones.
