That's the concert in Canada I posted Yeh technically rocking drumsolo, I only miss the musicallity (eh how you say it) creativity in the drumsolo. There no exitement-build-up in the solo. No story... But his drumsound ROX, and Flo's one of the best metal drummers. You live in Montreal, that's quite the same area. The guy sounds like he's suffering from the world's worse case of constipation. Why even name the songs?, they all just run together. "One big mess of a song." that's what they should call it. It does not get played on the radio, which is good, that would prolly ruin it for that undergroud band. I don't really listen to death metal for the singing, but the drumming. It's really amazing.. But i think he might tour with the export kit i always see him play on. i was still suprised when i saw him playing with eliminators, just because because those pedals are heavy and i heard they have a bad habit of breaking a lot. oh well. Members ashes of eden Posted January 5, 2003 Members Share Posted January 5, 2003 woody, i'm not sure that's his masterworks kit, though it does look like it. my band played with his side project [black cloud] a few months ago, and his kit looked like it was just coming out of the box [i might be wrong here, just the impression i got]. this show is from the beginning of the summer, so i'm not sure if he had already got his new set... definitely right about the pedals though, and damn can that guy ever drum up a storm... puts me to shame... Yeah, with his chops, it would have been cool to build into something instead of short burst, but a cool solo all the same.That lefy hand on the high tom was pretty fast, he has good control.
