Members mench Posted January 18, 2003 Members Share Posted January 18, 2003 hello - I'm primarily a bass player so I usually hang out in the bass forums but I play drums too anyway - I was wondering if you guys could help me, I just bought this second hand sonor hi-hat stand for $100 Australian ($50US ish) with a trade on my crappy old mid 80s pearl stand, which had seen much better days the new stand is great except that it feels like the shaft moves very stiffly - still smooth movement but it rises quite slowly - I've tried adjusting the springing mechanism - and is also quite hard to close it's not really a problem except that you lose a bit of feeling in the foot and you have to stomp on it to pedal it. anyone know what the problem could be? or are all sonor stands like that...
