Members Ernie
I'm not usually one to say "go do a search" or anything of that nature, but right here...about 10 posts down...the same exact post. Most people here don't like it. Any drum kit under $500 will automatically elicit the reaction: "Try a Pacific." I happen to like the Swingstar. Despite what people here might say, I would gig with it (granted, "gigging" only includes crappy little dive bars and local small clubs...but still). It gets an at least decent sound, and it's comfortable to play. I like it. I recommend some Remo Pinstripes on the toms and a Coated Ambassador on the snare...excellent sound. Members moosryan
speaking as someone who has a swingstar, when you tune it right it sounds downright awesome and a lot better than the pacifics and the pearl forum...
