Members Invertalon
Don't do it, whatever you do, DONT! Buy some hi-hats for around 200$.. Then once you save up another 150$ or so go buy a crash cymbal, and good one.. etc.. Never buy the packs unless you go for the top of th elines. Low end cymbals suck and will always suck. Members seahawk
A good SET of cymbals for $300?........hmmmmm well,Paiste.Sabian and I yhink Zildjian sell "sets" of starter -type cymbals that are usually pretty good......and cost somewha tless than the $300 you posted. But...........the larger "sweet" cymbals start at $300 per....I'd suggest you be patient and purchase each cymbal based on quality not nessessarily price.. try eBay or some other online musical instrument store or maybe Guitarcentre or something. You'll be much happier with your cymbals if you get the ones you want an dcan afford that are of great quality. Members wmbreck
If you need them now look into the Sabian XS20 series. Very nice for the money and about what you want to spend for a ride, hats, and a crash.
Members HuskerDude
Check Ebay for a decent set of hi-hats and a crash/ride. You'll hate any starter set you get for >$300 in less than a year.

Members CrackedDrumHead
My Sabian b8's are stacked up in the corner of my room on the floor; they sound best there. I wish I would have paid a little extra to buy the AAXs to begin with.

Members technik
For that kind of budget, Sabian XS20 will be the best bang for the budget. Good luck
