Members tenderidol
Hi all, I just got a 4 piece TAMA Starclassic EFX (silver sparkle) set. The kit is a year old, but the person I purchased it from has not used it that much. With all the cymbals and hardware, it was a great deal!!! I found only one small thing that I need to fix on the bass drum. The wrap material on the bass drum hoop (batter side) is detached at one point (only about 1/2" long and not all the way through). What would be a "safe" way to glue this material back to the hoop? Will a wood glue be strong enough to hold it? Thanks in advance and great forum! PS: I just attached two pictures of the kit to give you an idea what I am talking about
Members Dave TheDrummer
Use EvoStik impact adhesive. You won't need much and FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS !!!!Make sure you spread a THIN layer on BOTH parts and LEAVE IT FOR A WHILE !Then when it's tacky you press the parts together and it'll never happen again. Members tenderidol
Giving you the 12"??? Good one Yes, it is the fusion kit (18"x22" bass; 8"x10", 9"x12", and 11"x14" toms). I paid $1250 for everything (4 piece Starclassic drums, Pearl snare drum, all the hardware (bass pedal, HH stand, 4 boom stands, throne and several clips), all the cymbals (almost brand new Zildjan A and A Customs plus two Sabian splash cymbals that I dont use) and 4 drum microphones. Members tenderidol
Please dont hate me I was just lucky (right time, right place type of deal). I also paid $150 extra for some other goodies that he was selling (so the total was $1400)... I was not quite there in terms of saving up, but when I saw the pictures of the drums he sent me, I immediately jumped on it! I hope you guys will find deals like this as well.
