I usually hang out over in the Guitar forums, seeing how I don't play drums all that well. Anyway, I have something that you all might be interested in before I put it on the 'Bay. Here's my post in the HC Effects forum:

I'm selling an Apollo Space Drum, under the name of PR Percussion Series. These are extremely rare pieces, and apparently the first drum synthesizers ever made. I got it from an old man in Helena, Arkansas who runs the only guitar shop in town. Nobody ever buys anything from him because he's too expensive and most people there wouldn't know a Gibson from a hole in the ground....anyway, he said he got it when they first came out, I believe in the late 60's or early 70's. It sat in its box the whole time, on one of his shelves. What's really cool about it is that you don't have to play drums to use it. The way it works is its clamped onto a drum or an object. When you strike the object, the Space Drum detects the vibration, thus triggering the sound. You can also get the sound by tapping it with your finger, which is what I did with it. It makes some REALLY cool sounds, from space-age death rays to ring modulation to runaway Pacman bleeps (it gets the dying Pacman sound to a T) to really weird bombing effects......strange. There are three jacks, one being the output jack and the other two being footswitch jacks. What they do, I do not know. I don't have a footswitch to test them with, but I'm assuming its for turning the unit on and off. There isn't much information on these, seeing how Apollo is long gone. I've only seen two ever, one of which belonged to a forumite who used to frequent this board a few years ago. They're very, very rare and really cool sounding. Very, very fat sounding, all handbuilt analog construction and runs off of a 9V battery.

There are seven controls: Intensity, Volume, Rate, Mode, Decay, Sweep and V.C.O. The unit is DEAD MINT with the original box. I'd like to get $200 for it. (OBO)

I don't know how you guys like spam and such over here, but I thought I'd give it a try, seeing how it is a drum synth and all. Thanks a lot!!! ;)
