Members El Glom-o
How do you do cymbal crashes with your left hand? I've never found a comfortable way to strike the cymbal. I have to try either striking he cymbal on the right side with the bead pointing down, or on the left side with the bead pointed up and my elbow and wrist bent to a stiff and uncomfortable position. So I generally limit crashes to the right hand, which doesn't always work well. Anybody have any advice on this? Thanks.
Members Mopzilla
I play brushes right handed traditional. I just hit the one or two rides I have setup and hihats normally, from the side, sort of. Even when I play with sticks, I usually crash with my right hand even though the left is usually available, so it's not a real big deal.
