Members Drumr
Nope...I thought I was too old school but I've got to admit to changing my tune.I've found a really simple setup that's great for the geezer set.Have a look here. The mixer stays in the studio, only the KAT & the Module go out live. I bought this TrapKAT just for practice to keep the volume down. But one day the in-laws were over and I played it for them, my mother-in-law said,"If I close my eyes I'd swear that was real drums." So I took them out one busy weekend and did three gigs with them.It went great, hardly anyone noticed. The band liked the lowered stage volume too. That was in May...been with it since then. We play thru Bose L1s, so I run my own sound system...it sits behind me.The audience gets the same mix I do. Check out some video Hereor at the band website These aren't for everybody, but if you are looking for something easy, and don't mind changing your style, this is your baby. I mentioned last weekend to the band that I'd like to play my real drums again sometime. Our guitarist said "do that when you are sitting in with some one else...Please!". Members pljones
Hey there! When it reappears from wherever it's gone, post this over on the KAT forum! I'm still waiting for life to settle down enough here that I can get my TrapKAT...
