Members rockbeat
Just trade your Sonors for a drum machine. That way you'll stick to your rule of not buying another drum set for the next twenty years.

Members rockbeat
I hear ya. I'm looking into triggers for my kit. I've got a D4 module that's been collecting dust for about 4 months now.

Members theFoot
yeah, sounds like a nicely compressed steel 6" tuned up nice and high. It's the kind of sound the mic hears, but it'll sound way ring'y in the room while playing it. Just drink absinthe, like 'ole Trent in the video. That way you won't care what your drums sound like, or if you want a drum machine or not! I hope ya'll had a nice time last night. Just wash up afterwards. Trust me, you don't want to do that. It is extremely difficult to balance the levels between e-drums and a-cymbals. Been witness to many guys who tried that, and each and every one of them said the same thing.
