Members Living Dead Drummer
One of my main bands, Mad Yellow Sun filmed a video almost 2 years ago for Troma Entertainment's film "Poultrygeist!". Since late 2005 the video has been in limbo, as "Poultrygeist!" has not been finish. Well the movie is being show at a film festival August 17th and we got the OK to put the music video out! So check out YouTube and Myspace, Mad Yellow Sun's "Jack The Ripper" w/Ron Jeremy is on! WARNING! This video may not be suitable for viewers under 17... (It's got freak'n Ron Jeremy in it... helloooo...)
Members FitchFY
Thanks for the warning, Nick - I was all set to check it out (FROM WORK), and I'm glad you gave the disclaimer! I'll check it out tonight!
Members Living Dead Drummer
Yeah, as I posted this I thought about it and said.... hmmmm some people may be "younger" drummers or, like you said, at work... the last thing I need is an email from an parent or your boss walking buy when Ron Jeremy is on screen. So what did you think?
Members Chunkaway
Uh...no one ever said rock'n'roll was about subtlety. Whoa. The song reminds me of STP/Alice in Chains/AC/DC. (And I mean that in a good way.) I definitely hear Phil Rudd in your playing-driving and heavy! The video is, well, over the top in a Spinal Tap kind of way. The fake blood is funny, although I'm not sure if that is what you were going for. The part where Ron Jeremy blows out the woman's neck was too obvious for my tastes, but I'm probably much older than the demographic you are shooting for. I will say I wouldn't expect to see this video on MTV/Fuse/MTV2....EVER. The Spice channel is another story though.
Members Living Dead Drummer
Oddly enough you will see this video on Fuse and maybe MTV2, but edited a little.... And we did go over the top (ala Spinal Tap) on purpose. The movie this video was shot for is a Horror/Comedy B flick. Thanks for all the compliments! The entire bj scene is going to have to come out! Ahh...well the movie connection explains a lot. The video will fit perfectly into that movie's genre. By the way, I kept seeing that piece of the woman's "neck/throat" in my head all day! And yes, boys and girls, Ron Jeremy is THAT good.
