So I just recently moved here from Philadelphia with a job transfer from one SamAsh to another. We just opened up in October and I know theres tons of people that dont know we're here yet. We really have a huge selection.

I went around to my competition to see what I was up against, there are some really cool music stores here, with my favorite being Atlanta pro percussion. But I really think we have the largest selection of drums. Just for example we have a one of a kind Noble and Cooley kit, a beautiful hand laid abalone C&C kit, a retro white satin flame Smith kit, a natural maple satin Canopus kit, I sold one they sent me another DW waterfall bubinga with gold hardware kit, a purple craze Pearl Reference kit, we have to really cool flashback Ludwig vistalites which totally rock then the ever so popular ultra violet Tama Starclassic bubinga finishing up with my Yamaha hand laquered sparkle kits. Not to mention the dozens of other kits in all price ranges and qualities. Superstars, Visions, Stage Customs, Ludwig Accenents. My snare wall is jammed packed with Dunnett, Allegra, Canopus, Spaun, DW, and all the rest you can think of.

If anybody is around this Saturday between the times of 1-3 the one and only Fred Gretsch is going to be here for our kick of to Gretsch drums party. SamAsh has been family owned and operated since 1924, and we are bring "that great gretsch sound" back to the stores. So come bring your Gretsch snare drum or come buy a drumhead to get autographed by the man himself!

Anyway, I hate to sound like a sales person, but Im just really stoked about having a SamAsh drum shop in Atlanta. I've been selling drums for a few years now and have never been surrounded by such a great selection! Even if you are not in the market to buy anything, still stop by and shop talk with me. I'll be more than happy to show you around you can play the kits, whatever you want.

So if any of you read this out there and come in and ask for me, Bill you get acouple pairs of sticks on me. Plus I'll hook you up personally with deals that you wont find anywhere GUARANTEED! If you find anything that you buy from me and you find it cheaper anywhere, ( within the U.S. and within 60 days ) I will personally refund you the difference plus an extra dollar to keep you happy! and my comission hahaha...

Hope to see you soon!

p.s. I can take credit card orders over the phone I just need to varify them and I can ship to you! Plus we have ways to finance your purchases no payments no intrest for a year!

I am another LONG TIME atlanta person and a no-it-all as far as drums (and drum stores) in Atlanta goes.

I haven't made it into Sam Ash yet, so your post kind of intruiges me. Basically, here's my cavat to you... Don't assume your customers don't know anything or can't afford things just becuase they are asking about price.

I was in a Sam Ash somewhere and they completely ignored me though I was looking at high end snares. I only work wit 2 specific people at Guitar Center because they give me respect and the best deals.

I open to trying something new...so I hope I can make it there this weekend.

Should I look for Billy?

I drove by today and almost turned in there but didn't...funny story, right? I'm about to get another practice pad, a book, and a metronome, but the retail prices in store sometimes are a little too much compared to online for smaller things like those (maybe not books, but i've seen pads go for 30-50% more...not frugal). I'll still stop by though and bother you, Bill.

well thats awsome that all of you seem intrested in stoppin by. i completly understand if some of you only have a few people you deal with when it comes to buying drums. i was the same way once. its just a really cool drum shop. we do have all kinds of kits in all price ranges and levels of drums. i mean, almost 80% of my customers are parents bringing in their kids for their first drumset. i only make this post, because im assuming that most people that are writting on here know their stuff. my goal is to make this drum shop the most versitle drumshop in atlanta. anyway, thanks for all of your replies, hope to see you all soon. and dont forget about fred gretsch this saturday, should be tons of fun. we just got a gretsch Vinne C. drumset and a few more USA customs on really beautiful kits...

see ya,

billy
