Members sirskatealot066
figured id just post this rather that pm it cuz it might answer some questions for others. ive been toying around with the idea of buying a hand drum, namely an ashiko, and im looking for a size reccomendation. im looking for a drum that would be small enough to incorporate into a drumset for fusion style playing but also large enough where i could play it by itself or in a percussion set up. what would you reccomend? also, how would you reccomend incorporating it into the drumset? is there some sort of stand i could use? would i have to drill a mount? does anybody make a cradle or anything for an ashiko type drum? Members slap happy drums
this guy really wants me to be gay with him , maybe I should just go to LA and see if we hit it off , the man is clearly in love with me , love like that you don't find every day. Back on topic There are a few types of stands out there , so no drilling needed , as for size I'd recommend a full size (24" tall)If you go bigger you can play it w/ mallets too.
