Yesterday, we were jamming with a new bass player and we were discussing how to start a Motownish type tune. He suggested that I play Pat Boone, Debby Boone as a pickup.(3 + 4 e on the snare, + on the small tom) I had never heard that one, so I learned something new and I thought I would pass it along. P.S.
