Was looking at wiresix's youtube video and one of your Pearl videos came up as a Related Link, so I checked it out. Your technique is snazzy (British word, I guess) by the way.

So a friend and I watch it. Friend sits down and rocks out the heel-toe mayhem instantly. Dude played drums a long time ago, but not so much in the last 10 years. Anyway, pissed me off because he was instantly way smoother than I am. That's the way of the world haha

I should point out that he's messed around with my double pedal for maybe 30 minutes total... maybe he was a tap-dancer in a previous life.

This story may seem pointless to the casual observer, but the meat of the discussion is that Darkslide's 20 seconds worth of video was enough for someone to work out how to heel-toe effectively.
