Members turdadactyl
Absolutely FANTASTIC drums and percussion...and it's really just a long vamp with few, if any, changes. Gotta love it. ...that's all I got on that.
Members devinw
Word. I've been listening to that one a bit lately. Pretty damn good. The drumming and perc is in fact fantastic, however I like the songs from Spectrum better. Either way, good album.
Members boomboomdrums
Oh man. I bought that 8-track in 1977 and wore it out listening to it driving around in my 1968 VW Bus! Some Skunky Funk. This is when I was a student at the Armed Forces School of Music in Norfolk, VA. I have vivid memories of one time me and my music buddies were going to a club in town and we were listening to it. When we got there, we couldn't get out of the bus, because we had to listen to the rest of "A Funky Kind of Thing" first. It blew our mind. "Some Skunk Funk" was mind altering as well. All the songs are good. If you haven't heard it, buy it. It will change your life!
