Members lollygag
Hi everyone, I am thinking about selling my old drumset, but I haven't been playing for several years, so I don't even know what a fair price is. Maybe you could tell me what you think it's worth. It is a Tama Rockstar, 5-piece, all in good condition except for a small nick in the finish of the bass drum. I would include the stands, cymbals and stool too. the cymbals/hi-hat are nothing special. They were stored in a place with good humidity, no smoking or pets, don't know if this matters at all. I bought them in 1999 or 2000, I think. I never gigged with it or anything, it was just an instrument to play with an old band of mine. Any quotes? I can't remember if I bought it for $650 or $450 but I remember that with the cymbals and stands I spent about $800-900. thanks!
Members polarnewfie
In good condition I would assume 400+/-, as there are quite a few sets out there these days that are as good or better for 500 brand new. They could be worth more, but in reality, if the cymbals aren't decent, they aren't really worth anything. I wouldn't pay any money towards non-stage/recording worthy cymbals. So the sale is really for drums/hardware.
