I had an idea for a very similar, purpose-made/marketed stage fan that would fasten to a mic/drum/cymbal/music stand tube using a real multi-clamp. I thought about other "gig" specific features too, like (rechargeable?) battery power as not to cause ground circuit hum in a sound system, and a reverse mode for cross-venting and smoke-shifting. Thing is, these days, it's near impossible for an American inventor with little or no backing to get something to market with any realistic chance of competing.
